Ramly Burger
As a Malaysian, now and then a Ramly burger craving hits. And when you’re living abroad, the only thing you can do is try to recreate that flavor. Not gonna lie, I nearly cremated a bun, wasted a few eggs, and had to channel my inner gerai Ramly dude to realize this burger. I salute all the Ramly stall owners! My attempt is not even close to the real Ramly burger, but here’s the recipe if you’re brave enough to try.

Garlic Shrimp Fried Rice
This is something I crave fairly often. Garlicky rice tossed with slightly charred succulent and sweet shrimps makes for a great comfort food that I miss from home. Here's my recreation.

Kimchi Bacon Fried Rice
Kimchi bacon fried rice is my go-to when I need a fast and dirty lunch - so easy but so delicious and satifying. You could even argue that it is semi-healthy due to all the probiotics in the kimchi.

Born to Feast is for the homesick, the curious, the hungry, and the Norwegians standing in an asiatisk butikk looking marginally lost.
